Patient Safety Measures

Patient safety is of vital importance to us at The Wayne Dental Clinic. You may notice that when you enter the patient room in our office, we wear gloves, masks, and even eyewear. This is done to protect you, the patient, as well as ourselves from germs and bodily excretions that may be transferred.

We also utilize other methods of safety that you don’t see. One of these methods is the sterilization process of instruments used in the patient rooms. The ultrasonic cleanser system with enzyme tablets eliminates body excretions, and bacteria from each instrument placed into it. The autoclave mechanism then makes the instrument automatically sterile and ready for use. Any instrument unable to be sterilized is properly and promptly disposed of.
